October 16, 17: It was breathtaking to see about 60 smiling people paddling their Feathercraft kayaks in such a stunning location. In perfect weather we paddled across the bay and did a couple of surf landings and exits. Wet bodies, warm hearts. Organized by Shiro Ose-san of Granstream (Feathercraft Kansai region)

October 19, 21, 22: Kayak sailing clinic with Nakamura-san (Naky 4000) as head instructor. The happy marriage of Feathercraft’s up-wind sailing rig and Naky’s Sabani sail continues. We had: some wind, lots of wind, and no wind days,. Perfect.

The second event was held close to the town of Tateyama, Chiba.
October 23, 24: The rain and wind did not stop the 40 enthusiastic paddlers from paddling the kayaks. There was lots of getting together in the wonderful old bed and breakfast just 5 minutes walk from the beach. Organized by Kasahara-san, Kitada-san and Komazaki-san. (Feathercraft Kanto region) Shige-san and Kwok-san were on hand from A & F to help out.
It was a remarkable experience for me to talk with so many enthusiastic Feathercraft owners.
